This beautiful Trekking awning has an adventurous and timeless look. Thanks to its flexible sizing, the awning fits both small and large caravans, as well as unusually shaped caravans.

The Trekking Awning has graceful curves on the sides that nicely accentuate the awning. The panels of fabric that are tensioned downward create a partially enclosed atmosphere, producing a 'living room' effect under the awning. This awning is made for caravans that, measured from the ground, are higher than 2.10. If your caravan is lower than 2.10, choose the Travelling awning.

The pole set for the Trekking awning is the same as for the Homy Porch. You can also order the Homy without a pole set, allowing you to create an attractive combo of Trekking awning + Homy porch. Note, however, that the Homy's fit is not suitable for every caravan. So check the size chart carefully!

Triple lane beading structure
The awning beading of the Travelling awning consists of 3 parts, offering many options. You can choose to thread the awning fully through the beading rail, or only the horizontal straight part. If you (necessarily) choose only the straight part, as with Eriba caravans, you can tension the sides down to the ground. The Triple Lane beading construction also ensures the awning fits on long caravans.

Ripstop Cotton
Made from indestructible Ripstop Cotton for the awnings. This cotton is strong, breathable, UV-resistant, low-maintenance, and quick-drying. A look at the fabric reveals a pattern of many little squares. This is a reinforced thread woven through the fabric, making it so strong that it is even used for Australian military tents.

Sizes, colors & side panels

The Trekking Awning is available in six different sizes and 3 colors and is easy to expand with side panels. The panels are universal for left and right and simply click onto the awning frame. The side panels come in three versions: solid, with a window, or with mesh. At Glaravans the awning is always delivered with a lightweight aluminum frame & Quick Fix tensioners, so you can tension the awning easily & quickly.

Trekking Side Panels

The side panels are quick and easy to hang with clips on the aluminum frame. This way you can create a bit more shelter in the evening or in windy conditions for extra comfort. There are three different side panels available which you can here order.

Sizing

For this Trekking Awning there are six available sizes; 275, 300, 325, 350, 375, 400. These sizes refer to the number of centimeters for the straight section of the caravan or beading rail (275cm, 300cm, etc). Measure the straight section of the caravan or beading rail to choose the best-fitting awning. Choose the size closest to the distance you measured. On both sides of the measured length there is an additional 1.25m of fabric with the attractive rounded cut corners.

Example 1: Did you measure 290 cm? Then choose the Trekking 300.
Example 2: Is the length 390 cm? Then choose the Trekking 400.

TIP! Do you not have awning attachment eyes on the caravan?
Then order the Awning attachment clips with it, otherwise you will not be able to set up the awning.
